Ok, after some tests and searches, that is what I found: - The actual limitation of bots numbers in a map is 32, because max value for "maxplayers" cvar is "32". -
In a local game with bots, with "bot_auto_vacate" cvar set to 1, and
only 1 human player on the server (you), max bots number is 30. - With "bot_auto_vacate" cvar set to 0, and
only 1 human player on the server (you), max bots number is 31. - If
you run HLDS (Dedicated Server) with bots, you can have 32 bots in the
game with "bot_join_after_player 0". But you can't join the server
because "maxplayers" is reached.
Here are calculations formulas: If bot_auto_vacate > 0 maxbots = ( maxplayers - ( humansNumber + 1 )) Else maxbots = ( maxplayers - humansNumber )
