I have been considering trying to make one, but I dunno if the larger Puyo community has any plans, and I wouldn't want to just insert myself into a community that didn't want me.
Plus, I'm not sure if I'm up to the task, since most of my work is with older games.-

Just for fun, I made one. I don't know a lot about mod loaders or how they're usually implemented, but I think this gets the job done. Also, I put this together very quickly, so there might be issues. Also the code isn't super neat either. But it does support one-click installation of mods. The schema is pptmm and it requires the item type and item id. It should also be able to update mods at the push of a button. Also, you could include a meta.json file with your mods, but if you're uploading to GB, I wouldn't bother.
