So what do do about a "limited" view span?

A Forum Thread for Half-Life

Yaw settings screwed up

This is driving me nuts it happens on lots of goldsource games that I either intentionally or unintentionally tweak video settings with. Even reverting doesn't fix it.

Whats happening is I can only turn my head a limited amount, and naturally I can't play like that. Its something I've experienced in everythign from Afraid of Monsters to Sven Coop, usually after adjusting the video resolution; again reverting it does not undo the damage.

What should I do? Or how do I fix this?

    Okay that was weird....

Just on a whim I copied some content over from one of the Halflife mods I have into the main folder, mainyl some .dll file folders, and it fixed it...
though it swapped the HUD... interesting.
