Tomorrow the FCC will decide if net neutrality will stay or not. It might stay but it most likely would die. It's a shame because net neutrality is what made the internet good. I'm saying my goodbyes today because there might not be a tomorrow on the internet. So, goodbye everyone. It was really fun making TF2 and Sonic Mania mods. I will miss net neutrality (if it dies). I don't wanna pay for internet. So we all might be isolated.
I think you got the concept completely wrong. First, if it does happen, it will take months or years before effects take place. (Unless net neutrality stays). You will not lose your internet and become isolated, you will simply just have slower connection times
One of the reasons we are so concerned about net neutrality is because of the lack of competition among providers. Where I live, only one cable provider is available to me. Even when I lived in New York City only one provider was available to my apartment. I could either buy Time Warner Cable's plan or have nothing. If you could choose between 10 providers it'd be fine, but that's not the case at all for millions of people. When there's no competition, regulations like net neutrality are crucial.
