Hey everybody, I'm curious as to what the rules are here regarding submitting stuff from other people's work. I've noticed there are plenty of other submissions that have content from multiple authors, or ripped from mods like Fakefactory or Black Mesa; is it fine to go ahead and submit content with the proper credits, or should you ask permission from each author first? I'm asking because I have stuff I worked on that I'd like to submit, but they're mostly derivative from other ppl's work.

if possible you should ask for permission from original authors and you should credit everyone included in the making of that mod (i say "if possible" because some of the authors might be offline for a long time and quit modding)
