In Sm4shMusic, what is the difference between CharacterRotation and RandomRotation? I'm editing both Stage music tracks and Menu music tracks if that matters.

It doesnt matter unless you plan to add characters to the bg for sound test.

CharacterRotation means that a few characters you choose will be on the background when that track is selected in the music test, like a mario character on a mario track, random character means that any character from the roster can appear on the background

You can just leave it on RandomRotation unless you're really OCD about which characters appear on the background in the Sound Test menu. This setting doesn't have any effect on the My Music screens.
