As a Breach Specialist, this marine can also be equipped with a Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun. Protected by a light kevlar flakk jacket and the occasional balistics helmet, this trooper is more for offensive decisive strikes rather then defensive tactics. This marine is also equipped with both Flashbangs and standard High-Explosive grenades. This light weight reconisance trooper is quick on his feat and uses strategically coordinated attacks, suppressive fire and tactical maneuvers against enemy ground troops. Due to the nature of this Marine's environmental combat training, he is dressed in light brown/tan desert foliage camoflage fatigues and matching tactical gear. This trooper can load a 30 round straight clip, cycling with a 1.5 second reload time. This trooper can load 8 shells into the SPAS-12, cycling with a 1.5 second reload time. All weapon damages are automatically appended in game and are reflective of the damage that player can do with the same weapon of that type. All damage is broken into thirds of the maximum damage and progress by skill level until the equal player damage has been met. ************************************************** MARINE TYPE: US Desert Recon Marine SKILL: HEALTH(per level) Easy 50 Normal 50 Hard 80 ************************************************** ARMOR / DAMAGE ABSORB ADJUSTERS HEAD Takes full damage, unless helmet is equipped CHEST Subtract 10 points of damage per bullet taken. LEGS Takes full damage per bullet taken. ************************************************** WEAPON TYPE: H&K MP5/M203 Sub-Machinegun AMMO: 9mm SKILL: DAMAGE(per bullet) Easy 7 Normal 13 Hard 19 ************************************************** WEAPON TYPE: Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun AMMO: 12 Guage SKILL: DAMAGE(per pellet) Easy 7 Normal 9 Hard 11 ************************************************** ************************************************** CHARACTOR TYPE: US Urban Tactical SAW Trooper US Desert Recon SAW Trooper DESCRIPTION The US Desert Recon SAW Trooper is an rural ground warfare heavy munitions unit equipped with a Fabrique Nationale M249 Heavy Machine-gun. This ground pounding marine is a slow moving heavy assault trooper that is fully armored, utilising full body kevlar and balistic helmet. This marine is also equipped with both Flashbangs and standard High-Explosive grenades. Able to witstand incomming fire, these soldiers can take a severe ammount of punishment while delivering a hailstorm onslaught of rapid anti-infantry machinegun fire. These troopers are extremely effective against large squads as thier rate of fire is over double that of the standard M4A1 equipped marine. They can serve as a stand alone one man army with thier Machnegun or support entire squads with continuous streams of suppressive fire. This trooper can load a 100 rounds per clip cycle with a 3.5 second reload time and empty an entire clip in roughly 10 seconds or less of continuous fire. All weapon damages are automatically appended in game and are reflective of the damage that player can do with the same weapon of that type.     It isn't an error because I didn't base this Grenade launcher on anything in the real-world. I just wanted to create a cylic grenade launcher that used standard Half-Life M203 grenades as the primary ammunition - Just like the grunts use. The only difference is that I wanted to have the grunt fire only grenades and at an accellerated pace. This was merely done to save time in creating a completely brand new entry that suited this weapons real-world ammunition type. The grenade Launcher here is firing those 20mm grenades out of this. That's all I meant. Reguardless, the Pyro no longer uses a Grenade launcher but will use a Flame thrower based on the style of the TFC modification Pyro.

    There is a Russian equalent as well, it fires only 6 grenades cyclic, but otherwise almost the same, guess it has bigger grenades.

    Yes, the MM-1 Grenade Launcher is the first GL with the revolver technology, is shoot 12 grenades, 120 grenades on 1 minute, you see this weapon on Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix

    well there is one error, the M203 isn't a cyclic grenade launcher, it is the one that is under the M4... You mean the MM-1 Grenade Launcher with 12 grenades in a cyclic barrel, it is semi-automatic.

    No, the Heavy Weapons Grunt will not be available to play against in single player Counter-Life. They are developer entities and will be available for Mappers to implement into thier own maps or modify existing ones with these new entities. Placement works as any other monster entity does, just place these specialised grunts along side the original Hgrunts and everything will mesh together smoothly. These new grunts are not available yet and are still in the midst of being developed by myself and Haunter. So, many things need to be done in order to make them readily available to the mapping community. This is a constant work in progress and I post these screenshots and updates as a method of keeping the public informed of our progress. PLEASE REMEMBER TO PRESS F5 TO REFRESH THIS THREAD.     Wow! Great stuff! Love the desert fatigue and i love that mp5 mdeol for the grunt. sexilisious :p so good i can't think of anything wrong of it(from the screenshots atleast)
