Hello,if you have any idea how to make the chopper crash like in Episode 2,then please leave them below I cant find out so please help.Thank you.
Hi, I have some experience with that sort of things, and I think I can help you.
Depending on the situation: - Situation 1: The helicopter is moving freely on its own and when killed, it to make it crash on a specific place. - Situation 2: The helicopter is "programmed" to move on a defined route, and then crash. In the first scenario:You'll need just to place an info_target_helicopter_crash entity where you'll want it to crash when its killed. In the second scenario, its a bit more complicated:- Go ahead and make a npc_helicopter, name it, lets say helicopter_crashing. - Then, make a new entity path_track. Name it helicopter_crashing_path_1. This is the place where the helicopter will spawn on. - Now duplicate the path_track (Shift + Drag the mouse) to make the second path, they will automatically connect. now do it again, and so on, until you reach the crash site. Choose the last path_track (the one that the helicopter will turn into debris) and go to its Outputs section and make them like that:
Output named Target entities Via this input Parameter Delay OnPass helicopter_crashing SelfDestruct 0.00 - Now, the last thing; You'll see a Target path_track in the keyvalues of the helicopter_crashing, set it to helicopter_crashing_path_1, and you are done :) Yeah i know the names are long, but believe me, with short names you cant find a thing when you want to, so better make them clear and easy to read.
Yes thank you but im looking for the spiral out of control kind the info_target_helicopter_crash
does do that but he just continues to spiral and does not explode. Also the path track one is pretty good i'll try that on one of my maps. Thank you.

Ah, yes I forgot to say that you should make the target_helicopter_crash not on the ground, the helicopter has to reach it, make it above the ground, somewhere 200-300 units above any surface, now it should explode near the ground and fall. You can adjust it to explode a little close to the ground to make it look like an impact. Also, no problem.
