Lighting Help
- A Forum Thread for Counter-Strike: Source.
Hey guys, I'm not too good at explaining things so here's a video of my map thingy:

So my question is...how do I have the lighting change AS the door moves? I really don't want the door to be dark like that after the move. Any suggestions?
hlrad.exe calculates the shadows, but since doors and trains and other brush-based entities are entities, then hlrad.exe ignores the door as a brush and calculates shadows just as they weren't there.
TIP: If you scale a texture to be smaller, shadows on that area will be better (like sort of in CS:GO)
