Our indie game team is looking to expand it's mapping staff with a person who is willing to collaborate on map work such as hallway design for a first/third person survival horror title in the vein of games like Call of Cthulhu or silent hill; who is able to work with .Map files in Radiant or an equivalent.
since we're going by script and all there's a lot to polish but not a lot to be creative upon, so that's one thing to keep in mind - work involved tyding up the texturemapping, fixing the lighting, creating adjacent rooms, hallways and sometimes desing the layout of an area.
texture work is not required, though
our intended platform is older hardware so we're looking to make some interesting environments without going crazy on map brushes or textures.
ideally someone who can do much with little, taking cues from old classic first person shooters such as Blood, Soldier of Fortune, S.i.N and Quake
game is already lined up with a publisher and will be sold on physical copies once completed.
