100% CPU usage

Hello guys, this kinda worries me :/

Hello guys Not too long ago my old processor died (along with my mainboard and power supply at the same time) so I replaced it with a new one. I have no clue why that happened but I am kinda concerned about this occurance : up tp 4 minutes after startup the CPU usage is nearly constantly 100% , checking the tab which task uses how much CPU shows some tasks but none of them has a extraordinary high CPU usage neither too many tasks run at the same time. Maybe this caused trouble with my older system ? Or is this a usual behaviour ? Specs : ![](http://puu.sh/1onkq "")

Is the bios of the mother board updated? I don't know much about AMD as it's a brand I wouldn't use my self but try to look it up on the AMD site or so! Also just checking this might not be relevant but you did apply thermal paste to your cpu right? Hope you'll find a fix, best of luck mate!

I'll just scan my system for viruses right now since this might be the problem but idk, im afraid that this CPU brakes again :S

I hope you didn't only check in the task-manager. ^^ You should check what services are started manually, automatic and not at all. Since Windows is incredibly bloated even when it's newly installed, I can help you to determine which ones you can turn off. I need a list of all startup-services that appear on msconfig. To open it simply hit the start-button and type "msconfig". I also need a list of all the other services. You get them by clicking on start and typing "services.msc". Since this list is very, very long, I'd like you to order them by the startup-type (manual, automatic,...) and do a few screenshots. I'm from Germany btw, so I understand the German names of the services. ;-) That small part of the configuration is interesting. Is this supposed to be a gaming PC?

If you have not already done so, try running malwarebytes full scan in safe mode, just to rule out the issue of malware. Malware can be a big cause of CPU spikes and they rather hide themselves well to not be see when you check your task manager for suspicious processes. Ruling out malware/virus will let you concentrate on other reasons (CPU overheating, memory leak, corrupt registry, screwed-up driver...)

Basic computer usage 101: There is "Antivirus" software out there that isn't particularly an actual antivirus, rather the opposite (See rogue security software).

I wouldn't trust the temperature the cpu sensors read out one bit, and here is why: Thats in a full Prime95 load without a fan on a Thermalright True Spirit 140 cooler. So yeah. Motherboard readout of the temperature of its own sensor was 64C

    1. I removed the file config.cfg in folder c:\Program Files (x86)\Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike\ 2. I downloaded the original file config.cfg on gaming forum and copied it to c:\Program Files (x86)\Counter-Strike 1.6\cstrike\ 3. in game console (~) writed "hud_fastswitch 1" for quick weapon switch. then it worked without lags.
