Certain models end prior to edge of screen appearing as-if cut open/hollow, how to fix?

    I'm assuming that the origins of the models are too high up and centered.

    Did you make these, or were they downloaded from here?

    The problem is usually related to the origins of the weapon skin. If your models look like they are "chopped open", then either find a new skin to use (assuming you only downloaded the skins), or recompile the skin with different origins (assuming you made it yourself or even know how to).
    Not as serious as you'd think.

    The model was dl'd from here and oddly, worked fine on my prev rig (same gfx card, drivers, settings afaik).

    How do I rest the FOV?

    Does not appear origin related as when I change the origin, the area/zone where it will not display does not move although the orientation of the model does.

    Just change the origin of the model and by the way, you can't change your FoV in CS, it's set on 90 by default.
