Anyone familiar with Amazon? - A Forum Thread for GameBanana

I'd like to purchase some books and after doing a bit of searching, it seems like Amazon is the cheapest way of getting the books I want. However, my problem is that Amazon doesn't accept Paypal and buying gift cards from Ebay seems a bit pointless. I don't have a credit card that is supported by Amazon so I'm kind of stuck. Does anyone know a way around this? Perhaps someone can purchase the books I want from Amazon and then I'll transfer the money from my Paypal account to yours? Suggestions are welcome.

Pretty Impressive. I was going to suggest Chegg.com if it was simply for textbooks. But, yeah. I'd help you out but I haven't made the current payment on my credit card yet :/ Sorry bro

A bit offtopic, but those are really good books. I have read the majority of them (I haven't read The Bible and The Quran), and I really liked The Prince and The Art of War.

You should get a pre-paid visa card or whatever amazon accepts. You should be able to get them at any post office.
You can even get Amazon cards (kinda like the iTunes card) in some stores too with no expiration date.

Here's the different methods of shipping and its costs: Link (open in new tab)

A lot of the ones you have listed are "Literary greats" and can be obtained free from various places. The Bible, Quran, Origin of Species, Art of War and Gulliver's travels can all be downloaded as free e-books. Not to mention most Churches/Mosques will give you free copies of the Bible/Quran. Alternatively why not use the $100 tom gave us for Christmas? He said you could exchange it for cash or as vouchers for any on-line retailers. (e.g Amazon)

I know that most can be obtained for free in e-form but I still prefer having real books.

Can always raid rummage/garage/flea markets for well known books like that. Contact schools and libraries for book sales. Churches will almost always give a bible out. > **Posted by Jonny-higgins** > Alternatively why not use the $100 tom gave us for Christmas?
