I checked my email today and sure enough I got an invite to the closed alpha trial of Battlefield 3 :D Just wondering if anyone else here was lucky enough as well, maybe we can add each other on Origin and play a game or two?

I got it like 3 days ago, but it's on an email I never check :P

It's the one I registered my EA account with, and I went to go post something pertaining to a problem I'm having in Bad Company 2 but had to verify my email first

And when I logged into that email I saw it haha

So if I never went to go and post on the forums I would have missed that email entirely! Strange how things happen.

But I do have to make the most out of it, yeah, since it ends in like 3 or 4 days :(

Marketing/Promotional move? or do you actually have a proper bug track/reporting system that runs alongside the game?

Been a slew of marketing beta's/alpha's from big companies rather than actual testing trials heh, I find the actual bug testing and constant crashes quite fun to work through and see resolved :P Always nice to see how one can impact something big.

I know they have survey's and stuff relating to the alpha, but I'm not entirely sure if they have some kind of data collection thing running alongside it.

I do know a lot of the destruction and graphics settings were limited because it's an alpha trial. I'm thinking it's more of a server stress test to prep for the beta.

You can get alpha by signing for it.
I had to wait for 2 hours and I already had BF3 installed. It looks sweet, but alpha is buggy as hell.

I got in the alpha also but the battlelog website is always broken... I have only been able to play for 15 mins in the past 3 days.
