Ok guys, I DL'd the Crysis 2 Demo for PC, I played it for like 30 minutes, and i said to my self, "Oh cool, i might spend my remaining 60+ bucks on this" Then my computer crashes, it just powers down, Did it power off because it was close to overheating? Or worse, did it overheat? Im atm waiting for it cool down, i really hope it isnt dead.
Im sitting at a macbook right now, Discuss.
Okay, me and my father thinks its the graphic's card power supply cord (i think its called like that in english, im swedish ya kno,) that have like, disconnected from the power supply or something like that, It's my brother's older graphic card and it have happened to him too,
But dad is gonna look at it today.
It's simple, if you want more enjoyment be prepared to spend more money for these things.
Older graphics card can mean so many things.
I hope to god you weren't running anything under a _GTX 260_
Oh well, game plays fine for me HD5850, no problems I'd recommend getting some better gear for your PC...just a suggestion you can sit with a Mac-Donalds cooker or a decent PC that can play amazing games :)

In any case, if the power was instantly cut, a device hit its temperature threshold and the current was removed to prevent overheating. Did it overheat? No. Was it in danger of overheating? Not really. They set those thresholds a little low just to be safe. Unless the current quadrupled I don't think any damage is possible.
Virtually any other problem would result in a kernel error (BSoD) so we can be almost certain the cause was a high temperature.
Sorry, that i haven't posted anything.
Apparentley, my second power supply i bought this year, melted, so i bought a third one, this time from Corsair, my dad said they make high quality power supplys, and now i play the full game at medium settings, (im so pissed that i bought it, since you can play multiplayer if you just torrent it...)
