problems with v_c4.mdl

Hi, I tried to to edit the model of the bomb. I was successful with the w_c4.mdl which is on the ground. But i got problems with the model which is in the hand during running. if I decompile (I use Milkshape) I got many .smd file. i import them and to test just generate imediatley a new model of them. The model i receive is an animated model whis is making strange things. I just want to have a new texture on this one. any idea? icq:298922990

If I'm not mistaken, you don't need to recompile to change textures in GoldSrc. IIRC you can do this with Jed's Modelviewer.
If you want to edit the model, only load the reference SMDs which contain the triangle data.

    edit: also, icq? damn.
