Lobby fails. Grmbl.

Greetings. Me and a friend play Modern Warfare 2. There is, however, 1 problem. We can't connect to the lobby of each other. We've tried numerous things. Information: Modem type: Zyxel P2612HW The latest firmware is installed. --------------------------------------------------------- Following ports have been forwarded: 1500 3005 3101 27015 27016 - 27050 28960 --------------------------------------------------------- - UPnP is enabled. - The firewall on my modem is disabled - The firewall on my computer is disabled - My virus-scanner (avg) is disabled. However, when I am in-game, it says that my NAT Type is strict. I don't know what to do else. And I can't connect to my friends lobby. Anyone has idea's? - Hamster.

I had the same prolem and kinda still have. My NAT-Type was strict, whatever ports i forwarded. Then i tried the 'telnet'-method and then it said 'Open' but my friends still have problems connecting to me. I guess i'll make a tutorial for the telnet method, but for now do the following: follow this tutorial. then open CMD ('Windows-Button'+R -> enter cmd -> hit 'Enter') then copy and paste (use rightclick for paste) the following: service host add name CoD6 service host rule add name CoD6 protocol udp portrange 27000-27030 service host rule add name CoD6 protocol udp portrange 28960 service host rule add name CoD6 protocol tcp portrange 27014-27050 service host assign name CoD6 host 10.0.0.15 connection bind application LOOSE(UDP) port 1500 connection bind application LOOSE(UDP) port 3005 connection bind application LOOSE(UDP) port 3101 *note that you have to enter your static IP-adress in the 5th line the enter 'saveall' (without quotes) and hit enter. now look up your NAT-Type ingame. If it's still don't work, then you probably use WLAN, which is my problem.
