I made a map, and i used the light_environment to create light to the map, but it is still really dark in the map. Any tips how i could get it that it's more "lighter" and not so dark?

The Light_environment sets the lighting information which will be emitted by the toolsskybox texture. If you want to light interiors you'll need to use the other light entities.

You have to set a valid "pitchyawroll"value so the engine know where it should point the light. The best way to do this is to simply "click" at the "pitchyawroll" text and point somewhere in the 3D view. ( youre pointer should change to a cross styled shape)

It´s not needed but if you want some softer shadows without touching the lightmap, try enter a value in the "sun spread angle" 5 is a good starting value.

    Cheers

Hey Spartan, you can make the light_env brighter than just the default. Took me a while to figure out when I first started, so I put a bunch of "light" objects around and it looked bad.

Just go into the settings (Not sure where), and bump it from default (200 may be) to 2000.
