Gmod error?! - A Forum Thread for Garry's Mod.

Hello. About a year ago i recived Gmod (10) From Swamp56 as a Gift in steam now that i installed it after my problems with steam i get this error ;

Now what the fu** is up with this sh*t?? It pisses me of that steam is so retarded, what's wrong with valve ?! Now i clearly do own this game since it was a Gift it's not piracy or anything. so why the hell do i get this error message when i try to run it? I've NEVER had any troubble with Gmod before.

Could be the Steam Cloud, ever since people switched over to Steam 2010BETA it's been buggy. I've had the same error with TF2, but it said I didn't have a valid account to play. Try re-installing or re-logging in. I didn't try reinstalling TF2 but I read a thread on the Steam Forum with your same problem and that seemed to be the answer. I just waited until the next day and suddenly I could play again.
