consistency

Something that's been bugging me for quite a long while. When exactly, does a custom model fail the consistency check? I mean, damn, it's been years (well 2 and a half or something) that I know of this issue yet I never knew what criteria the consistency test specifically checks. Any helpful information is welcome.

    World models can fail for having anything other than $basetexture or a few others in the .vmt (ex. bump maps not allowed on w_models). There is also some sort of bounding box issue, if you adjust them (at compile time in the .qc) sometimes you can make certain weapon W_models pass consistency. I have little experience with player models. Those that know are hesitant to share information about player model consistency.
