arena baed map ive been working on

The past 2 days i been working on a random i have no idea what gametype it should be used for. Also i want feedback on the map telling me the pro's and cons from the picture. http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/large/69e77531592a9117ecb28943ce11f144ea8074f1.jpg Im having problem with the fire it seems just to stay on the floor when i run the map but on hammer it on the pillers. I will upload it after i edit couple things .

    Now was that so hard?

    How long does the compile take?
    I'd like to see more screenshots.
    And could you post your compile log?

    Compile takes around 35 mins on fast
    for testing purposes hvent tried normal yet
    you can test the map soon because tehkiller going add to his server

    there lot of errors but i never figured out how to fix

    Well I can't remember what "Zero area child patch" is but other than that you just need to optimise the map and it'll get rid of those portal errors.
    Good to see you have no leaks though.
    As someone else said, it's very empty. Looks a bit small too.
    About optimisation; I suggest reading this. Mainly the Intro to Visleafs pages (everything inbetween).
    Looks good though.

    Thanks i fixed some of the errors
    Zero area child patch
    is something to do with compiling it in fast i think

    mainly this was goinng be a ka map thats why its small but still thinking of making it for some other game type
    also since im already at 90% planes
    nothing i cant realy add on unless i do lest detailed area's

    it's empty because i cant realy find any good models what will suit the map ive tried few diffrent things but didnt work out

    if you know models what will suit please sugest
