Crashing..

A Forum Thread for Left 4 Dead 2

Game just keeps going to my desktop..

Every time i try to play the demo weather it be single player, online, or any game mode as soon as the game's loading bar gets full it goes back to my desktop. I don't know what to do, I've tried lowering my video setting putting the game in window mode etc. But it keeps going back to my desktop over and over. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Oh go into the properties of the .exe file in task manager and set the priority to high or change it to run as administrator.

    Crashing... like a Jumbo Jet full of Terrorists. Anyway, do you have skins installed (did you edit the VPK at all) because I had that issue when I fucked up with a VPK edit. Luckily I had a backup.

    Go to your steam folder, delete clientregistry.blob and restart Steam. If that doesn't work go to your setting and turn the ingame community off and launch the game again.
