Originally posted by Haunter How about these games? They sell it like $15.00 per CD here. But the original price of each CD is like $59.90 EACH. And you know what? I bought it!
So I ask myself, did I do the right thing by buying the HL generation pack?

YES!:D
I had to have that pack as well, since my orginal HL HATES mods.
It refuses to load them.
So I bought this package with Opossing Force, HL, Blue-Shift and CS 1.0.
The latter I had from before.

Originally posted by Haunter I know. Some games don't sell well. So there was once I headed to one of those retail computer stores and found some games worth $15.
Heck, some of those games costs $59.90 like 4 years ago.
Yup Gangsters 2 is an example of that.
I got it dead cheap... And you know what? It was good, pretty darn good.

But true... I will give it a go, just reinstalling doesn't exactly tempt me.
It happened with my GTA 2 game. It failed that way, but that was an budget copy I had, sort of a leftover sale.
But there is a problem, I have the orginal, hell yeah, but it is an OEM version, came with some game club way back when so I guess I install the patch and the game is no longer orginal.
Originally posted by Haunter The silly slot machines broke down after I used them 5 times. My gambling skill was like 300%
Yeah... best thing is the gambling tables, bet 100 all the time and win.
I get rich, I run to the gun store and get all the ammo and guns I want.
man 999 pounds carrying is NOT enough.
Originally posted by Haunter I also had a mutie with a minigun, a scientist with a big mouth from New Reno and a highly intelligent deathclaw.
Had them both... The minigun man costed me a fortune in ammo so I was a standard guest in the Redding casino, costing them fortunes in slot machine repairs.
2 dogs? Well I had a full army with me, the Vault City bartender with a Combat Shotgun, Vic with rifle, Sulik with his sledgehammer and pistol, Ghoul with SMG and thats it...
We rained hell down on them.

Well if you have the bloody mess trait you tend to damage more.

Originally posted by Haunter Yep. I used the plated boxing gloves and no one gives a damn. Heh heh heh.
I didn't, I just punched them to pieces. They never knew what hit them, however the Dragon crippled my arm once, but I kicked him and went down the to the "Brotherhood of steel" basement there and got healed.
Originally posted by Haunter I got my sniper rifle. Outrunning me is totally impossible.
They end up in a bloody mess, some run towards me, then stops in front of me and runs away.
Giving me time to take the shots.
Have you fought both the champions in San Fran? I did, hehehe.
Originally posted by Haunter Of course that is when my g11e came out from my coat.
The G-11e used too much ammo for me, so I yanked out my huge Plasma cannon that I had stolen from Navarro.
And started blasting.
Heck, I even gave the gattling Laser a run for it's money, stole that one from an enclave patrol.
Originally posted by Haunter Ah, yes. The Monty Python easter egg. For some reasons, killing the Bridge Keeper earns you more experience points than answering his questions.
However, your reputation goes down.
I bagged him and stole his coat and used that one all the time...
If he don't want to move... Well just move him.

Originally posted by Haunter I decided to send a welcome message to the commander via a plasma shot to the eye.
I melted his heart with a warm touch. Literally.
Well I let the plasma gun do the talking, like "Hey I am the Plasma cannon... DON'T die when I talk to ya"
Well have you met the "Bridge of the dead"? where you must answer some questions to pass?
hehehe Nothing a little force can't fix, I shot him to pieces.
