It has come to my attention that the Galil and FAMAS may not be added to Counter-Life Beta 5.5 the way I had plan it.
As we know, the date to release Counter-Strike version 1.6(or vesion 1.7 in some cases) is unknown. Some said it was at the end of March while some said it's in the middle of April.
Well, one thing is for sure; if it were to come out in June, I might not have enough time to add both in and release Beta 5.5. But if it is in May, I might be able to add at least one of those sweeties in.
Whether the Galil or FAMAS has been added or not, it won't change the release date for Beta 5.5 until further notice. As of right now, I'm fixing the berettas spread and recoil and touching up the DEagle a bit. It's strange, but seems like both of these guys hate each other.
I will try to post a screenie on Monday or Tuesday and feel the colours of the wind. :D

Also, it would kik ass if you could add an option to make shells stay (Forever) that way people with computers that have more power than they know what to do with (Like me) can have shit loads of shells everywhere.
I already have my max sprites pumped up to 30,000 Lol.
Also, I have some kik ass Ideas and fixes if youi ever want to hear them. Like making it so the grunt ACTUALY removes his clip from his gun when reloading. I already made a model with the proper changes, all I need is for someone to code it into working.

I thought of making an expansion where your osprey crashes and you are healed by freed slaves... you get to kill lots of headcrabs and alien grunts (they are the bad guys now), then get to City 17 and start to hunt down the G-Man.

The M249 fires between 750 and 900 RPM in varying conditions. To give an idea of how fast this is, the MP5 consistantly puts out 600 RPM and the Mac 10 fires about 850 RPM. That means the M249 Para should fire somewhere in between the rate of the MP5 and the Mac 10.
I've heard that they're tweaking the duelie's accuracy and fire rate to actually make them usefull in the game. What I really want though is for the M249 to have a higher rate of fire. At this point the gun's just laughable. All they have to do is leave the accuracy and damage the same and make the fire rate comparable to the Mac 10 and that'd be a gun to reckon with.
