When i am gaming after 15 min i start to lag and get 0-10 in FPS, i get normal fps after 2 min though but its shitty ass annoying. this is only for CSS, when i play TF2 or other games this dosent happen.. anyone here to help me? Edit: this now happened in TF2 aswell Stuff Done to try to fix it (did not work): -remove all skins -defragment the games

    Try deleting all your skins and custom stuff, and then re-install them one by one until you finds the one causing the problem?

    i only got player skins installed atm and ive had them for 2 years or something..

    Backup them first and then delete them. see if theres any difference

    Haha, wow, cheap bastard using the easy mode skins...=O

    Anyway, try verifying and defragmenting your game cache files.

    This is kind of what happens to me, but I go from 200fps to 100 fps after 5-10 minutes, any way, good luck! :)

    It sounds more like a problem caused by overheating.

    Do a test would you:

    Heat up your house and time how long it takes for the fps drop

    Cool it as much as possible (Wet Towel FTW) and then try

    Post your results and if it's correct then you have a problem with your cooling.

    After I formatted and upgraded my video card and processor it went away.
