No one knows ffs, just try, why ask? If it can't, then it can't. You don't even know what your own motherboard is, so I take it you don't even know if it would support SLI.

Well it's a: I just forgot my ORDER CODE at ibuypower but I found it

Asus Crosshair II Formula NVIDIA nForce 780a SLI Chipset w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, IEEE 1394, USB 2.0, 3-Way SLI

By the way it says SLI twice, I'm pretty sure it will (logically).
I don't even see the point of getting snippy at me though.

Crysis is nothing without Antialiasing :< and i have it on 2x and all high res 1024x768 and i need more resolution and antialiasing..

    AMD athlon 64x 2x 3.1GHz 6000+
    Sapphire HD4870 1GB GDDR5
    3GB 800 DDR2 ram
    600W PSU
That runs GTA4 almost full, but with 10>40 fps

Sorry, just too many posts of 'oh can I run this, oh can I run that?' Just getting annoying ya' know? It's just the fcat that noone kknows for certain. You have to actually try yourself to know. Even tho benchmarks may say this or that, it doesn't mean your exact system will definitely do the same. Ya know?

What the hell are you gonna use 8GB of RAM for?
It's way more than enough to have 4. You could use the money on other stuff in the computer, perhaps get a blu-ray player.

Unless your planning on using a 64 bit os 8 gig of ram is pointless.but yes that should be ok as long as they are good qaulity parts not cheap crap.
TBH why not go for a gtx280 over 2 x9800gt? im pretty sure it will out preforme them.SLI still has its problems just as crossfire does(i have crossfire 4870x2's) some games you will just not see the benifits of dual cards, thats ok with a 4870x2 as the preformance of one is great anyway but to spend that on 2x9800gts then have a game only use one of them the preformance isnt going to be that fantastic.
But in the end its up to you i built a crossfire rig because i wanted to experiment with it so you may still want to go the sli route.sli does work quite well in crysis though.

    i play in dx10 mode with max settings,x16AA+x16AF @1920x1080

I can run it on Very high, and Anti Aliasing 8x without lag, just some few places where things explodes and stuff :P

If I go above AA: 8 then it's start to lag more, when I have it on the highest which is 16x2 pr something, I can't quite remember but I have an fps at 15-40 it depends on what happens in-game :D

    My Specs:

    Motherboard: Asus Striker II Formula
Case: Cooler Master Stacker nVidia Edition, w/ 850W PSU
    RAM:Crucial DDR2 BallistiX TRACER PC8500 2048MB CL5 Kit, 240pin, 1066mhz, LED`s (2 = 4096MB)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0GHz (Overclocked to 3,50GHz)
CPU Cooler: Zalman CNPS9700 NT Ultra Quiet
Videocard: XFX GeForce 8800 Ultra 768MB

So I guess you'll do better than mine!

I can only have: 1280x1024 on my monitor though.

Why do you actually ask this?
It looks more like you are trying to show off your specifications instead of actually looking wether you meet the maximum requirements, which you easily can find on the internet.

I'll just reply short and simple.

    hell yes.

now for the not so short

2X9800GT should be quite a bit faster then the 260GTX i've got and i can run it 1680X1050 maxed out with a ultra high gfx config. and my overal system specs are a lot lower to.

    C2D E6600 @3 Ghz
    Asus P5D
    MSI Geforce 260GTX OC
    RAM 6 GB
    Memory 3.8 Terabyte (*showoffmode*i only win on memory ^^ 600GB raid 0, 2X 500GB and 2X 1TB :P*end of showoffmode*)
    Power Supply 720 WATT

PS max recomendations dont mean anything

if your right on the recommended specs it will run, but not on max and not on all resolutions.

minimal = if u got this it will work, u will shoot yourself before u end the game but it will work
recommended = it will work and run pretty smooth but dont push your luck with the gfx

My friend has the exact same CPU as you and 2x 9800GT's. He is running it at 1600 but only high. 30fps...

Also SLI is a waste of money and an addition of complications. I warned you now.

Yes, it does, but why would you buy it? The 9800GX2 has serious heat issues, not to mention the driver issues that always plague GX2 cards.

Excelleram Blue Heatspreader in dual channel set up

    HDD: WD Barracuda 500GB

    Case: Antec p182
2 chamber design, separate airflows, 3 120 mm TriCool fans (2 upper, 1 lower chamber)

    PSU: OCZ StealthXstream 600W

You'll be able to run it on very decent settings. But not on full settings. BECAUSE CRYSIS IS A PIECE OF MOTHERFUCKING PROCESSING POWER SUCKING SHIT.
I like it, but you need too many power to run it decently. It's because there's barely any optimization.

I got the GTX 285, and I can run it at 1680 x 1050 at Very High for Crysis, Enthusiast for Warhead, and Best Visuals on Wars at the same resolution and I get around +30 FPS.

You can run most of the settings on high but not all. More than likely, you won't be able to have the shaders and textures on high. And yes, I AM an nVidia fanboy. Which is better than an AMD *cough* I mean ATI fanboy.

Just download the demo and find out. If you can run Crysis, you can definately run Warhead.

He probably already HAS Crysis, but he is wondering if his 9800s could handle it cause he doesnt have them yet.

Anyways, 20 days old. The man's probably already happily running in Korea killing aliens in HD
