(i need.. as a prefab?) How to create slippery ice? (tutorail needed) Can i add a sound when i walk on the snow? (tutorail needed) I want a nice wooden roof, but i don´t know how to build it (tutorial needed).

"slippery ice" can be done in one direction using a func_push, don't know about trees, try decompiling a map with them. I don't know about the sound, but with the vertex tool you can probably create a nice foor. That's all I know, soory I can't be of more help!

    1) slipper ice, probably not gonna work. 2) snow trees, eh.. you probably can just add tree entities (prop_static, go to world model and search for a good tree ) and then try putting small white brushes all over it. would take a while and a lot of detail but it could work. or you could just have some fog in there and some snow falling to make up for it 3) walking ont eh snow usually makes its own sound if u getthe right texture. any other sounds u might want just add an ambient_generic and pick frmo there. actually, im gonna try to work on a "winter" tree for ya. like an evergreen, right ? as for the roof, on the left hand side of your screen in hammer there should be a wireframe box icon, clickthat and then click the brush u want to modify, the rest is pretty basicc hope it goes well, send me pics <;D

Lol, I tried that a few days ago. If it's an ice HILL, you can add a push, but that's about it.

I'm sure you can do ice... I think there is a friction thing somewhere, Or maybe I'm thinking of another game :/ As for the ice texture, I made one last year:

Well I couldn't find any, So I just made the one you see above. It's embedded in the .bsp If you don't know how to extract it from there to use then PM me or something.

I think you can make your own surface properties for textures but I don't know any tutorials for it. You'd need to define everything in the scripts/surfaceproperties.txt file then put $surfaceprop "ice" in your texture's vmt, if you named it ice. Then again, there's probably an ice property already there. Try extracting the surfaceproperties.txt file from your CS:S GCF and looking for an ice property, then check if the friction is low. You'd need to make a custom texture though, but you could just extract a glass texture and make a custom vmt.

That will also make snow and other things have no friction too. And a value of 0 isn't advised, You will never stop. Look what I just found!
