In idea of deathrun being a full mod!

What if instead of haveing all these maps for deathrun. we make a mod for deathrun. now im not one for detail, lol but by mapping for death run mod we would remove the problems of css mapping.

    I suppose it would allow you to use some of the hl2 ep + ep2 entity's, or other entity's that don't work in css, allowing more varied maps.

    and new player models etc...

    but other than that i cant see much of a difference.

    A few simple changes could be applied.

    Make knives compulsory within the mod, rather than the mapper putting it in.
    Have it so only one T is allowed at one time, and that T switches each round.
    Have points for completing the course, rather than just killing the enemy.

    All of what Killosity just said can be done in CS:S using eventscripts. Just thought I'd throw that out there. =)

    Giving pints for completing the map can be done in hammer. By using game_score and triggers for whenever you want points awarded.

    Well i mean, i have seen things count how many gg wins youve had, so should be able to get one on a server, for how many times uve completed a map.
