Hello, I'm apart of Halo:source mod and we have been having some people coming into our mod and posting how it is Illegal what we are doing. They claim that it is copy writing to make a mod about halo. He claims since where copy the guns vehicles maps and the whole idea of halo we can be sued and are mod could be shut down for not following copy write laws. I thought it was alright unless we sell our product, This kid thinks he has a great understanding of he law and thinks hes right what do you think? In my opinion I think this is perfectly fine unless we decide to sell it which were not. There are a few mods that takes ideas maps characters from other games ex. Pokemon: Source. I really want to stop all this conversation on our mod cause its delaying progress. What do you think?
