    Don't gotta, just exchange folders, youll need to redo anim's but thats it.

    It's not redoing anims, it's attaching the model to the CS bones instead of the Day of Defeat ones.

    It's something long, but, ok here it goes, hope I don't miss anything

    first of all you need the DoD model you'll convert and any CS player model (use the gign), then get the tools: get a 3d app like milkshape 3d, GUI Studio MDL (http://www.fpsbanana.com/tools/98) and Google for DoD 1.3 model compiler.

    Decompiling
    after you installed all the tools I listed, you need to decompile both models (be sure to put the models on different folders or It will be a mess), use the decompiler that comes with milkshape (when you decompile the DoD model be sure to check only the "reference" and "texture" boxes, but, when decompiling the CS model, check all the boxes)

    Editing
    with milkshape "import" the smd of the decompiled DoD model, delete it's bones, and now import the reference CS smd (but just import the bones), try to adjust the model to the bones and then follow Kfu's tutorial for bone adjusting (http://www.fpsbanana.com/tuts/6055), and save the smd (checking the reference box), copy the smd you just saved and the textures to the CS model folder, now open the gign.qc file (with notepad or something similar), and edit the line that says: (studio "gign") to (studio "the name of your smd here"), and then compile it with GUI Studio MDL, then It should be done
