Help me

I'm having troubles with compiling... whenever i decompile a model for some reason the gun rotates itself off to a side (as seen in the screens). I'm not sure if it's the decompiler or milkshape I use: Milkshape 3D 1.8.2 Cannonfodder's MDLDecompiler 0.5 GUIStudioMDL 2.2

    Post a screenshot of your MDLDecompiler settings, they may need to be changed and you must add rotate -90 to every sequence in the new compile.

    No, the settings for the MDLDecompiler program you used to decompile the model. As for the .qc file you need to make the following change for all sequences:

    $sequence idle "idle" ACT_VM_IDLE 1 fps 30.00 rotate -90
    $sequence reload "reload" ACT_VM_RELOAD 1 fps 26.50 rotate -90 {
    { event 5004 18 "Weapon_mp5.clipout" }
    { event 5004 36 "Weapon_mp5.clipin" }
    { event 5004 48 "Weapon_mp5.boltpull" }
    { event 5004 53 "Weapon_mp5.boltslap" }
    }

    The problem is occurring because of the settings you used in the decompiler program.

    Yes add rotate -90 to all the sequences and in MDLDecompiler check "Dump Old Unweighted SMD's" and "Do not fix rotations on animations". Decompile the model again and recompile with the new decompiled reference.

    The hand will be holding onto the gun, so yes, it will be fixed.
