"The GMA 950 shares the same architectural weakness as the GMA 900: no hardware geometry processing. Neither basic (DX7) hardware transform and lighting[1], nor more advanced vertex shaders (DX8 and later) are handled in the GMA hardware." quote from Wikipeida. this is my gfx running CS:S DoD:S and HF2DM. now this is whats affecting my fps on classics such as dust2 and all right? =\ bleh

    It's the graphics card, lol.

And the fact that you have Vista, but that doesn't make a significant difference in your case.

You need to upgrade bad, like not even something expensive, just like a $80 card.

I'm an idiot for the most part with computers, but you have a graphics processor integrated into your motherboard. So, you don't really have a stand-alone card, which means that...

Your card sucks, sorry if I'm being blunt.

If I'm reading this right, the computer basically came with a DirectX 6 card on the motherboard. What you need to do is figure out if your computer has a PCIe slot in it or just some PCI slots. The rest of your system should be up to running Source games fine.

Yes but you want to know where you're going to plug it in before you go out and buy one. :)

Video cards are almost all for PCIe or AGP slots. Some computers that come with a chip on the motherboard don't have either of those.

You do have a PCI-e slot. Link

Edit: I can't find your power supply specs, so you should open your case and check how many watts your power supply is to make sure it can power whatever card you decide to get.
