Looking for a few experienced & innovative mappers to create TRON-styled arenas for a gamemode in Garry's Mod called, Stronghold. If you would like to know more about this, please feel free to leave me a message, or for a quicker response contect me through my community forums at www.earth2luke.com/e2l-forums
Well, I haven't been able to dig out my reference material from the rafters for the playset I was hoping to recreate, and I'd be hard pressed to create all the textures and props plus the map within 27 days, so I am going back to focusing on my other projects instead of entering into the Toy-themed contest. :(
It's a nifty site, most come skinned, others are just shaders :( I grabbed a nice ATV from there some years back for a personal EP1 mod and to learn vehicle programming and rigging for source.
If you need a hand converting any models over and or making them fit the TF2 styling of exaggeration and pastel colours just let me know. Good to have a base model to work from, saves soo much time heh.
Wow, nice find man. I've been doing my own models, but for the skin submission I have asked Rootbeerz to make a toy pee-wee Herman skin.
That site has some very very nice models on it. I'll look at them more deeply today in max to see if they are skinned, etc. If they are nice enough in max, they could put this contest entry over the top. :D

Potentially I could do models, deal is I've just moved into my new place (still on the laptop with main PC in a box). Going to be a short while before I'm back into full action plus I'm stealing neighbors Wifi (50mbps though heh). Good thing is I'm collecting EI and sitting on my hands for the most part.
Sidenote: who have you been getting to do your modelling work to date?
EDIT X2: Oh, and once I heard about the contest I kinda did a browse though this site: Archive3D - Toys
I want to enter the new studio contest for a toy-themed map and skin (http://www.gamebanana.com/news/20016).
I have a good idea for the map and theme and am gathering the appropriate reference materials now. The thing is I don't have experience rigging skins or making models, AND this is a studio contest, so if a skinner from HL Storm wants to step up and collaborate with me on this contest entry, plz send me a PM and we can hash out the details of the plan.
What I have in mind is a small rats-style map, so TF2 might work better than CSS. I'll brush up on my TF2 gameplay mechanics in preparation as well. :D
