This is a very simple fix that switches the channels of the Hunter's shooting flechettes sound effect. For those who don't know, npc firing sounds have two channels, the left channel is used for close range and the right channel for firing far away from the player, the engine dinamically switches between the two. However Valve happened to goof around and inverted the sound channels for the Hunter's firing sound. So in the default Ep2 the echoey one plays when firing near the player and the louder one with some machinery plays when far away, wich obiously makes no sense. This patch fixes that issue.
