"Morph Targets" allow the models of characters to bend and stretch, and are used to animate things like Sonic's quills and shoes. These codes disable this functionality.

So why would you use this?

  1. When making a model edit, the morph targets require you to edit all versions of a given mesh. This simplifies it to a single edit at the cost of these animations.
  2. When making mods where having the animations wouldn't make sense, disabling them will help in that scenario (e.g. the character doesn't have quills, so their head might unintentionally distort)
  3. It may cause some interesting effects, such as Tails' tails no longer waving and so they look more like Tails in the SA2 chao gardens.


To use these, copy any of the codes above and paste them into a .lst file in your mod folder. For consistency, I always name mine "codes.lst". In your mod.ini add the line Codes=codes.lst (or your preferred filename), and you'll be good to go!
