Removed tint from BOTW without Reshade

A Request for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (WiiU)

Request Expired

This Request has passed its delivery deadline.

Removed yellow tint from the game

I would like the tint of BOTW to be removed either with a clarity preset or more preferably, just removing the effect completely. I don't want it to utilize Reshade as that doesn't always work and it worsens performance by a small margin. Pictures are taken from Tint BGone.

Requirements

In order to receive the points bounty, you should fulfil the following requirements.

  1. Must either remove yellowish tint from the game via graphics pack/BCML or a clarity preset to counteract it.
  2. Must not use Reshade or some other post processing injector.

I dont think its possible to do a 1:1 port of this preset using the clarity presets options we have at this moment.
I tried porting it as you asked on my post but there are things that are possible only with reshade.

Have u tried playing around with the 'Distant Fog Removal/World Fog Fields' graphics packs (combined with Clarity) included in CEMU for BOTW. U can get pretty much what your after with those. I would like this too though tbh. My machine is a bit old now, and my game runs much better on OpenGL than Vulkan, and obviously using reshade gives a big fps hit on OpenGL that I can't deal with on my rig. So if anyone does make this, I thank you in advance.

You can basically do this if you play around with the Graphics Packs and the too many options Graphics Packs. I achieved essentially the same thing without reshade about a year ago.

Hell yeah i agree with you, that would work way better than a reshade!

You should probably mention the other mod you got the screenshots from. But yeah I would also like to see it be a Clarity preset instead of a Reshade package,
