Cinematic Mod Day-Night Cycle in MMod - A Request for Half-Life 2: MMod.

To keep it short, I'd like the altered day-night cycle found in the Cinematic Mod's install options to be in MMod.

For those unaware, there's an option in FFCM that alters the timing in HL2's story (such as part of the coastal levels taking place at night). I'm unsure whether the process of doing this (if it's even possible) would be different across different versions of Half-Life 2, so I'm putting this request on the normal Half-Life 2 page for now, but I'd like this to be done on MMod if the process is different.

Requirements

In order to receive the points bounty, you should fulfil the following requirements.

  1. Put the FFCM day-night cycle in normal HL2 (if it's the same process universally)
  2. Put the FFCM day-night cycle in MMod (if the process differs among HL2 versions)

    Alright, so you've got a choice.
    The first image is with HDR off, the second is with HDR on. (Non-HDR has a darker sky among other differences)

    If you like the HDR version, I just need to change all the coast maps to use that lighting.

    If not, I can:
    [1] compile the map without HDR (You'll miss out on some nice color and bloom)

    [2] Try to tweak the HDR to be more like non-HDR. (The skybox will likely still be brighter)

    [3] Include a new custom sky for all maps in the mod. (Likely from the Cinematic Mod night maps, color of lighting will still be slightly different)

    Hey guys, drop this into your HL2 custom folder and load map "d1_town_05". (or play through Ravenholm)

    If it looks fine, I'll make the rest of the coast (Title screen included) with that lighting.

    If it isn't acceptable, please give feedback and I'll see what I can do. This is a mod for you guys anyway, If you're not happy with it, it becomes a bit pointless.

    Another go: A little darker + more blue.




    Should I attempt to add realistic lights in darker areas? (Some areas are quite dark, not a bad thing at all though!)

    For example: That light pole in the first pic could be on, same with one or two of the power lines around the coast, like CM.

    I think how this would be done is by changing the skybox to CM13's night coastal sky, then changing the default light too be dark, if that is possible
