Stalker shadow of chernobyl how to use hand mods

Question

I'm trying to change my first person model (my characters hands and arms) to the SEVA suit hands, however i have absolutely no clue how to go about doing this. I've been messing around making gamedata folders and extracting DDS files from hand mods, but i can't seem to get it to register in game and my characters still wearing those god awful fingerless gloves and stupid leather jacket sleeves. I should also mention i'm playing the default game and not using any mods. Please help!

Nevermind, Figured it out. All you need to do is have your folder layout as gamedata>textures>actand have your hand DDS files inside of the act folder.  For example i used this mod https://gamebanana.com/dl/210318 I really hope this helps anyone encountering my problem
