Is it possible to UnCrop Character Select Icons?

Hello.I want to make a Character Select Icon Pack but the problem is that, for some dumb reason, Nintendo decided to crop every single CSI manually so that they are perfectly sized. It makes it impossible to place my custom CSIs without being weirdly placed or zoomed in.I really hope if someone can find out if thats changable or hard coded.*The two pictures show what i mean by this question*

I always just export the og csi and place my new one over with the faces in the same general position. works like a charm
