Moving vanilla skins to different slots?

So, is there a way to rearrange the vanilla fighter skins? Just wondering.I'm sure people have wondered this before, but I couldn't find anyone else asking.

Assuming you're not dealing with gendered alts, you should be able to just re-number the model folders as well as the UI files. It's not a one-size-fits-all solution though as some costumes have files that aren't compatible with other costumes and gendered alts have an entirely different set of files which complicates things even more. But even so, it's nothing that can't be solved using file addition.

For the most part, it's as simple as copying the files from the Original slot and plopping it into the respective folder you want and just renaming the chara files and such. There's specific cases where you'll have to do some intermediate work to accomplish this such as, in the case of Snake's c01-07 costumes as they're technically different character costumes altogether...but it's nothing hyper advanced. Generally, it's as simple as copy and pasting and just renaming files. As stated, the only time it gets anymore complicated than that is if it's dealing with gendered alts or specific alts that have that weird rule; but in those cases, simply just ask around and the solution is relatively simple.
