why does the game not work on modern pcs/laptops?

so i own the game. and i've tried playing it on my nitro 5. but it doesn't play. how do i fix this. if possible. and oh. luancher doesn't have options. and when ya try to launch the game. it pops up with "value of 0" before you ask what my issue is.
