Again

Question

People, as you can see, there is a problem again, as expected, with the new update.

Liy_Rio · Accepted Answer

This problem can be solved by change "run = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix" 's location.for example , you can open broken mod's .ini fileand then make-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------[TextureOverrideLanYanBody]hash = 1066a76cmatch_first_index = 41385ib = ResourceLanYanBodyIBps-t0 = ResourceLanYanBodyNormalMapif $color == 0 && $top < 2ps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapelse if $color == 1 && $top < 2ps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseRecolorps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapRecolorelse if $color == 0 && $top == 2ps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseSpacedps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapelseps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseRecolorSpacedps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapRecolorendifrun = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFixdrawindexed = $drawvar0num2, $drawvar0offset2, 0if $coattail == 0drawindexed = $drawvar1num2, $drawvar1offset2, 0endifif $necklace == 0drawindexed = $drawvar2num2, $drawvar2offset2, 0endifif $feet == 1drawindexed = $drawvar3num2, $drawvar3offset2, 0endifif $feet == 0drawindexed = $drawvar4num2, $drawvar4offset2, 0endifif $catears == 1drawindexed = $drawvar5num2, $drawvar5offset2, 0endifif $glasses == 1drawindexed = $drawvar6num2, $drawvar6offset2, 0endifif $underwear < 2drawindexed = $drawvar7num2, $drawvar7offset2, 0endifif $underwear == 0drawindexed = $drawvar8num2, $drawvar8offset2, 0endifif $top == 0drawindexed = $drawvar9num2, $drawvar9offset2, 0endifif $top == 1drawindexed = $drawvar10num2, $drawvar10offset2, 0endifif $top == 2drawindexed = $drawvar11num2, $drawvar11offset2, 0endifif $pubic == 0drawindexed = $drawvar12num2, $drawvar12offset2, 0endifif $pubic == 1drawindexed = $drawvar13num2, $drawvar13offset2, 0endif----------------------------------------------------------------------------to-------------------------------------------------------------------------------[TextureOverrideLanYanBody]hash = 1066a76cmatch_first_index = 41385ib = ResourceLanYanBodyIBps-t0 = ResourceLanYanBodyNormalMapif $color == 0 && $top < 2ps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapelse if $color == 1 && $top < 2ps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseRecolorps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapRecolorelse if $color == 0 && $top == 2ps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseSpacedps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapelseps-t1 = ResourceLanYanBodyDiffuseRecolorSpacedps-t2 = ResourceLanYanBodyLightMapRecolorendifdrawindexed = $drawvar0num2, $drawvar0offset2, 0if $coattail == 0drawindexed = $drawvar1num2, $drawvar1offset2, 0endifif $necklace == 0drawindexed = $drawvar2num2, $drawvar2offset2, 0endifif $feet == 1drawindexed = $drawvar3num2, $drawvar3offset2, 0endifif $feet == 0drawindexed = $drawvar4num2, $drawvar4offset2, 0endifif $catears == 1drawindexed = $drawvar5num2, $drawvar5offset2, 0endifif $glasses == 1drawindexed = $drawvar6num2, $drawvar6offset2, 0endifif $underwear < 2drawindexed = $drawvar7num2, $drawvar7offset2, 0endifif $underwear == 0drawindexed = $drawvar8num2, $drawvar8offset2, 0endifif $top == 0drawindexed = $drawvar9num2, $drawvar9offset2, 0endifif $top == 1drawindexed = $drawvar10num2, $drawvar10offset2, 0endifif $top == 2drawindexed = $drawvar11num2, $drawvar11offset2, 0endifif $pubic == 0drawindexed = $drawvar12num2, $drawvar12offset2, 0endifif $pubic == 1drawindexed = $drawvar13num2, $drawvar13offset2, 0endifrun = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix-------------------------------------------------------------------------------However, this method can only repair damaged mods that originally had the line "run = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix" in the ini file.Hope to be of help to you

It's very simple when you learn it:first, copy this "run = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix", then open the skin mod folder and find the .ini file--open with notepad. Now this will take some tweaking to do, but look for "[TextureOverrideCHARACTERBODYPART]" (CHARACTER and BODYPART aren't what you'll see btw), for example: if your hair is broken look for [TextureOverrideCHARACTERHair], and add "run = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix" at the end, ex:[TextureOverrideFurinaHead]hash = 045e580bmatch_first_index = 0ib = ResourceFurinaHeadIBps-t0 = ResourceFurinaHeadNormalMapps-t1 = ResourceFurinaHeadDiffuseps-t2 = ResourceFurinaHeadLightMaprun = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFixYou'll know you did it correctly if the part that you want to fix is looking normal. ONLY add this to the parts that you need since it will look weird, for example if you add it to the face (that looks normal), it will look strange, and ONLY where it starts with "TextureOverride".Here's a list of what I think are all the parts you could need to add "run = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix":Head, Body, Dress, Hair, PonytailHead (and MAYBE SOMETIMES Face). also, if it ends with IB--leave it be.If it breaks or doesn't change anything then just delete "run = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix"ALSO, (re)install OrFIx and TexFxHope you can understand it, if you have any questions--ask!

idk bout anyone else but me personally i just remove the ORFix line and keep refreshing till it fixes itself, works every patch, then if it breaks i add the line back lolrun = CommandList\global\ORFix\ORFix
