how to recolr unika's weapon free weapon color?

Question

Unika’s weapon doesn’t have its own unique materials for the "weapon free color" slot. Instead, it borrows Ky’s "Thunderseal" weapon mesh and material for its colors. So, when you recolor Unika’s weapon free color, you’re actually changing Ky’s weapon colors because Unika’s weapon references Ky’s materials. If you want Unika’s weapon colors to be independent (so changing her weapon color won’t affect Ky’s weapon color), you have to break that link.1. Understand the materials link Each character’s weapon color links to a material instance. Unika’s weapon free color material instance points directly to Ky’s Thunderseal weapon material. So if you change Ky’s weapon material color, it changes both Ky’s and Unika’s weapon colors because they use the same material.2. Make a copy of Ky’s Thunderseal material for Unika Go to the material folder where Ky’s Thunderseal weapon materials live. Make a copy of the Thunderseal material instance(s) that correspond to the colors you want to change. Rename the copied material something like “Unika_Thunderseal_FreeColor” to keep it separate.3. Assign the new material to Unika’s weapon free color In Unika’s character material setup (likely in the modding tool or Unreal Engine editor), find the slot for her weapon free color material. Replace the material reference from Ky’s Thunderseal to your new copied “Unika_Thunderseal_FreeColor” material. Now Unika’s weapon is using its own material separate from Ky.4. Edit the new material to recolor Open your new Unika_Thunderseal material instance. Adjust the color parameters, textures, or whatever controls the color inside. This recolor will now only affect Unika’s weapon free color and won’t change Ky’s.5. Test in game Load the game or preview mode. Check Unika’s weapon free color—should be your new recolor. Ky’s weapon color should remain untouched.
