How do I change the alpha of a note type? (1.0.4)

I'm trying to figure out how I can change the alpha of a note type in my current version. Which is 1.0.4.This is the current code I'm trying to run. Everything's working fine. you actually have to use multAlphafunction onCreate()
    for i = 0, getProperty('unspawnNotes.length')-1 do
        if getPropertyFromGroup('unspawnNotes', i, 'noteType') == '2ndOpponent' then
           setPropertyFromGroup('unspawnNotes', i, 'multAlpha', 0.5);
          setPropertyFromGroup('unspawnNotes', i, 'noAnimation', true);
        end
    end
end
