How do I run the game on 30fps without slowdown?

I have a bad computer, so I only get 30fps in mario kart 8 deluxe. But this makes the game slow down by 50% which is very annoying. Is there a mod or a workaround to have it run at maximum speed even when my frames drop?

It depends on your computer specs and also the emulator you use, but if you really have a bad computer, I wouldn't expect to get a stable 60FPS without some heavy modification of settings that'll likely come with a cost, such as worse graphics or no sound.
