Can I create a field trip using the API?

Hello everyone i've been wondering on how to add a custom field trip using the dev api? Because from all the mods i played of plus, none of them had any new field trips (even times), so is it currently impossible due to the game's coding? Please i need an answer

Take a look over this and review the decompile. That should help you integrate field trips. After, you can figure out a way to use the API to work with the code.
