The desired map in a .VPK file

The missing texture (even if it was there) on a map (.bsp) extracted from a .vpk is a problem for me.
My second problem is trying to find the wanted .bsp file along with other .bsp files in a .vpk file full of maps. I extracted it, got the required textures, but once I load it up, I see some missing textures on parts of the map. It may be because it's compressed. Please tell me how to extract a .bsp file from a .vpk file without seeing the missing texture errors. If it doesn't work, tell me how to delete things WHILE it's in a .vpk without extracting it.
Never mind. Black Mesa doesn't always take kindly to overriding its stock maps with a /custom/ folder mod. It's prone to causing strange lighting errors, as well as missing textures since its default maps, are placed in a .vpk file. To fix it, just put the extracted .bsp file in a .vpk file. That will fix it.
