Old Sonic generations mods for remaster?

I have been searching online for quite a while now and haven't found much info regarding this, but I was wondering if there will be any modding support for the remastered portion of Sonic Generations. I remember seeing all the cool mods for this game (e.g The Unleashed Project), but unfortunately the original game has been delisted from steam.I'd hate to spend more money on a bundle just for the original gens or even resorting to piracy (but I'm pretty sure that isn't supported anyway).

Apparently the mod loader will soon have support for the game, whether that means the 2011 mods can just be added to the remaster or not I don’t know. We will just have to see. Here the post with the info (check the comments) https://gamebanana.com/requests/66910
