The 1.2 update broke a lot of mods--this mod was one of them--and the author hasn't uploaded a fixed version yet. There are auto-patchers floating around this site that you can download that should fix it though. This is the one I used and--other than the crash that's already documented with a workaround--my cyber kitty mod seems to be working fine, granted I haven't done any deep analyzing of the mod.
