Possibility of cross-play?

Question

I know it may be an absurd stretch and huge ask, but would crossplay even be possible between LCE versions? I know that they are quite similar in structure, but that may not really make that huge of a difference when attempting to add crossplay. And I know that now that Nintendo Servers are down this makes it even more difficult, but maybe somehow through the use of Pretendo it could be done?

If someone is able to mod all the legacy console edition and support one another, then yea similar how people able to crossplay Java Edition and Roblox.But for now, it is not possible since the formats are unknown and no Minecraft coder would RE the legacy consoles at any point.

A majority of the versions are on different versions, so they're mostly incompatible with each other. Plus, it'd take a lot of effort to actually implement joining other's worlds and adding people across platforms, especially with Minigames; certain platforms run it better but some don't have the maps, it'll be a mess
